The Common Ground Company is hosting a monthly bluegrass night at the Nomad World Pub. The first Wednesday of the month will feature The Common Ground Company alongside other Midwest string bands.
West Bank Revival takes its name from the West Bank’s long standing legacy as a creative space for artists and musicians and the progressive bluegrass pioneers of the 80’s, New Grass Revival.
The bands performing each month are currently active in stretching the boundaries of bluegrass, while also holding true to the foundations of the bluegrass and old-time music.
Minnesota Bluegrass (Minnesota Bluegrass & Old-Time Music Association) is underwriting this monthly event. For over 40 years Minnesota Bluegrass has held festivals, workshops, and helped continued the tradition of acoustic music in the Upper Midwest. They are big supporters of bluegrass, old-time music, and related acoustic music.
